The Tour de France passes through the area every July and nearby St Girons has recently hosted both the departure and finish of some of the toughest étapes of the Tour. Those wishing to follow sections of the Tour are therefore spoilt for choice, with routes stretching both east over Col de la Core and west over Col Portet d’Aspet. Both routes can loop back to Sentein in a day with the eastern route having the joy of a long section of disused railway track running alongside a fast flowing river on the return. Mountain bike trails are infrequent, although as Sentein is the last village on a dead end road, the whole area is ideal for adventurous exploring.
Guests wishing to bring their bikes and store them under cover should mention this with their booking as The Frog and Peach has no space to store bicycles. A lockable storage is available but requires notice.
